The ship building industry sector is giving us great satisfactions as it's allowing us to continuously create different and innovative lighting systems. Fort Fibre Ottiche owns the right skills to manufacture both decorative and technical light fittings.

This is made possible thanks to the daily exchange between our internal technical office and our specialized staff in the various shipyards in Italy and abroad.

We have many years of experience in the ship building industry with technical and design expertise. We were among the first companies to introduce fiber optic lighting systems on large cruise ships and yachts.

We have been expanding our skills over the years, with the production of LED lighting fixtures, as well as with the supply of data transmission cables.In particular, we design, manufacture and install indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, decorative fittings and chandeliers, illuminated signs and fiber optic systems.

We issue certifications according to technical specifications provided by shipyards, interfacing with international architecture studies, lighting designers and system designers.

We are able to support the client from the first design sketches of the system, up to the creation of prototypes, in compliance with requested materials, finishes and timing, and finally ending with production, industrialization and installation. We provide “turnkey” packages for a complete project both in the conception and implementation phase. Our experience also guarantees, thanks to qualified personnel, the management of all the complex logistics activities in terms of materials procurement and storage.

Our team

Our technicians are based in Ancona, Genoa, Marghera and Monfalcone shipyards; our teams (thirty dedicated people) reach the different shipyards around the World (i.e. Sovik in Norway, and Tulcea in Romany) according to open orders, working directly on the ships under construction and refitting. Each team has a foreman, a single contact coordinating all working phases and processing times by interfacing with the company and following the delivery times requested by the yard.

Fort Fibre Ottiche features are team play, staff flexibility and organizational capacity, in addition to high precision and overview ability, required in the specifical working area of the Ship, in order to support the Shipowner and the contractors in every situation. The whole group is always ready to face the most diversified conditions and to respond to contingent needs.
